In order to qualify for credit the TDS ratio should not exceed 40-45%.
Monthly mortgage or rent - please insert the monthly payment of your mortgage or rent. Do not include utilities, property taxes, heating, condo fees, etc. If you own several properties - insert the total monthly mortgage payments for all the properties.
Monthly property tax - if you own the place insert your monthly property taxes (take the number from the last property city assessment). If you own several properties - insert the total monthly tax payments for all the properties.
Monthly condo fees - if you own the place insert your monthly condo fees, (the calculator will divide it by 2, as required by the TDS formula). If you own several properties - insert the total monthly condo payments for all the properties.
Monthly heating - if you pay heating insert your monthly heating expense. Do not include electricity. If you own several properties - insert the total monthly heating payments for all the properties.
Minimum monthly credit card payments - if you carry outstanding balance on your credit cards insert the mandatory minimum payment (even if you are going to pay them in full you still have to include the minimum payment). If you do not know what the minimum payment is insert 3% of the total credit cards outstanding balance.
Monthly car loan payments - if you have an outstanding car loan(s) or car lease(s) include the monthly payment(s) here.
Other monthly loan payments - if you have any lines of credits you have to include 3% of the outstanding limits (not the balance!). If you have any other debts (e.g. student loans, etc.) or payments (e.g. alimony payments, child support payments) insert the total monthly payments here.

Annual income before tax - insert your annual income before tax. Do not include bonuses or other benefits that you might not necessarily receive. If you are self employed include the total income after your business expenses but before taxes (if you are not sure include the income from the line 150 of your annual Income Tax Return). If you have more than one job, combine the incomes.
Annual overtime and/or bonus - insert annual bonuses, overtime and car allowances. Banks do not usually count overtime and bonuses if you have not been receiving them for at least 2 years (and can show them on your Income Tax Returns).
Other income - if you have other sources of income, e.g. investment income, pension, CPP, etc., insert the total annual other income here. Do not include child support here.
Alimony received - insert if you receive alimony from your ex-spouse.
